HoYeon

South Korean model-turned-actor Hoyeon received global recognition and praise after the global achievement of the Netflix original series, Squid Game, in which she played Kan Sae-byeok, who is also known as Player 067. Her breakout performance on the show Hoyeon was awarded the Screen Actors Guild award for Outstanding Performance by a Female actress in a Drama Series as well as an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series. Her hometown is Myeonmok-dong which is a suburb in Seoul Hoyeon kicked off her career by working as a model freelance in 2011 , walking the runway at Seoul Fashion Week. She competed on Korean's Next Top Model and placed as a runner-up. It was in 2016, that she received her first international recognition by signing an exclusive worldwide contract with Louis Vuitton. She has appeared in numerous campaigns since then and was on the runway for many designers, including Fendi and Marc Jacobs.
