Elizabeth Jane Hurley was an English model, actress, and television star who gained fame in the 1990s when she was the girlfriend of Hugh Grant. Hurley was a frequent guest of Grant in his role, which was at the time in being the focus of media interest worldwide because of the success at the box office of Four Weddings and a Funeral in Los Angeles. Her most memorable professional life has been her involvement with the company that makes cosmetics Estee Lauder. Hurley was hired by the company as their first model in the age of at the age of 29. Her best known cinematic work was as Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers the hit spy comedy International Man of Mystery (1997) and Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999).
